   PressDoc will power the Digital Media Center for the 2013 edition of the The Next Web Conference. Giving journalists and bloggers easy access to all announcements and news related to the conference. Sponsors, partners and startups are allowed to publish in the Digital Media Center for free.

   PressDoc introduces 14-day trial period. Create an account and try out for free one of the subscription plans. All PressDoc features are available in the trial period (including PressList). No credit card required in order to claim the trial.

   PressList helps PressDoc users pitch press releases to media without the email hassle. You can now send personalized emails from your PressDoc account. Media contacts can be uploaded and managed in PressDoc. Teams can centralize contacts lists in their PressRoom. PressList is available as of now for users with a subscription.

   Paydro gaat verder als zelfstandig bedrijf met Arjen Schat als CEO

   Vandaag maakt The Next Web Holding bekend dat een van de startups in haar incubator (bekend als TNW Labs) het nest verlaat en verder gaat als zelfstandig bedrijf. Arjen Schat, een van de oprichters van The Next Web neemt de rol van CEO op zich en gaat zich 100% focussen op het nieuwe bedrijf, Paydro BV.

   Justin Bieber to become most followed user on Twitter, dethroning Lady Gaga

   Lady Gaga, the unofficial queen of Twitter, has ruled the Twitter kingdom since August 2010 when she overtook Britney Spears as the most followed person on Twitter. Now Justin Bieber is on course to snatch the Twitter crown, in about 5 days. For now, Lady Gaga is in the lead in follows alone. Bieber’s account, however, is growing at a faster rate and Twitter Counter's algorithms predict that Bieber will overtake Lady Gaga's number 1 spot on Sunday, January 20 between 4:23pm and 4:24pm.

   The European Commission, with the support of The Next Web, is introducing a new initiative to identify and celebrate Europe's most innovative and influential tech entrepreneurs. The Europioneers are Europe's most prestigious technology business accolade, an Oscars for European tech.

   Great speakers and workshops at Kings of Code Festival

   With experts in coding on front- and back end development like Jacob Thornton, Lea Verou and Guillermo Rauch sharing knowledge, Kings of Code Festival is set to become the educational highlight of the year for developers. The Festival, taking place Amsterdam's Tech Light District, starts December 1st with a 28-hour Hackathon and is followed by a Conference on Monday December 3d and workshops on Tuesday. TThe latest techniques in web- and mobile development are presented and put into practice.
